Scrubs was set up in 2004 by Queen's University Belfast Medical students and has had a successful 13 years! The society has been voted Academic Society of the Year three times at the Student's Union Awards (2011, 2015 and 2017).

 

Throughout the year there are numerous events including:

  • Anatomy Revision Classes
  • OSCE practice days
  • The Emergency Medicine Conference (EMC)
  • Suturing Workshops (Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced)
  • Careers talks
  • Talks on topics such as Women in Surgery, Junior Doctors and intercalation
